CAP Programs and Services

All CAP programs are directed toward criminal intervention and compliance monitoring.  CAP classes address re-orientation of the thinking that supports “Arrestable Behavior.” Damaged or unrealistic beliefs produce thinking that easily supports criminal activity either covertly or overtly. The topics and structures of all CAP programs are designed to address three areas of concern:

Violation of the law is primarily caused by a combination of poor decision making due to inaccurate thinking, disregard for social boundaries, inability or unwillingness to assume responsibility and be accountable for personal choices and actions, and low coping, planning and adjustment skills.

Available Programs

Other recommendations may include pro-social activities in the community, participation in twelve step meetings, other self help programs and/or a regimen of random drug testing.
